Product Description
The rice used in "Gentle and Delicious Rice Flour (for cooking)" is an aromatic rice variety carefully grown in Ishikawa Prefecture without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
It is not only delicious, but also safe and secure. The rice varieties have been selected and developed to suit different culinary applications, so that the crispy and chewy texture comes alive when fried or baked. Organic & gluten-free.
It can be used not only for tempura and okonomiyaki, but also as a binder for hamburgers and tsukune (rice balls), and in a wide range of dishes from various national cuisines to local dishes such as pancakes and rice cakes. Recommended for tempura, where the oil kyusu is reduced and the crispy texture lasts longer than with wheat flour.
